  • How heated glass works
  • Modern heated glass is a high-tech surface, which has a conducting coating and is able to evenly heat thanks to the transmission of electric current. The technology is developed in the form of safe glass – triplex, and double-glazed windows. The conductive layer is connected to a network of 220 volts and emits heat of 60-70 degrees. Features of heated glass design allow for complete safety and avoidance of personal contact with a heating surface. It is enough to use a thermoregulator to set the required heating level. The heating layer is thin and completely transparent, it can be detected only with the use of special equipment. Therefore, externally such glass does not differ from the usual, but its potential and area of application are truly limitless.

Application and potential of heated glass

 There is a modern tendency in the field of architecture and design of premises to increase the area of glazing. The temperature regime typical for the region during the autumn and winter season does not allow the use of standard glass for these purposes.
